The duties of Lieutenant Governor include many official as well as unofficial responsibilities -- one of which is that of being Oklahoma’s ambassador to the rest of the nation and the world. Todd Lamb believes Oklahoma is the greatest state in our nation. During his travels across the nation and the world while serving in the Secret Service, Todd seldom missed an opportunity to extol the virtues of our wonderful state. As Lieutenant Governor, Todd Lamb will work diligently to promote Oklahoma as the great state it is – a state that is an unquestioned leader in energy technology, a state that is second to none in her work ethic, and a state that is poised to be a world leader for decades to come.

A key component in Todd Lamb’s platform is growing our economy and recruiting jobs to Oklahoma. In the Senate, Todd has been a tireless advocate for public policy to support our existing Oklahoma businesses while recruiting additional companies to relocate here. Both types of businesses, existing and those looking for a new place to flourish, have the need for a better business climate. That is why Todd Lamb has been a leading advocate for tort and workers’ compensation reforms as well as reducing the overall tax burden. In addition, Todd Lamb has already represented Oklahoma on official economic development missions. While serving in the Keating administration, Todd Lamb assisted and traveled alongside the Governor to roughly half the United States as well as to foreign countries.
